리오엘리 Lioele Review from Prettyandcute.com (Beyond the Solution BB Cream, Blooming Cushion Touch Blusher, and Mirror)

I really wanted to make a video review of these amazing products I bought recently, but I honestly have no time to film and edit because of I've been busy getting ready to move and studying/practicing the cello. T.T
I promise that after I move, I will be filming a more in-depth video review of these products. I guess that gives me even more time to try these products out and give an even better review! ^o^
I've tested these products for about 2 weeks now and I have to say I love them.
I actually was introduced to Lioele and the store, Pretty & Cute from Jen, who is known as frmheadtotoe on youtube and has an amazing blog! She made a review video explaining her experience with Lioele products and I knew that I had to try them out. :)

First, I'll start off by reviewing the store: Pretty & Cute
I was shocked by how fast they responded to my order. I literally just had clicked the checkout button, paid using paypal, and then I was sent an email right after saying that my order was processed.  Then, a few minutes later, they sent me a tracking number and my package was already shipped out. I was amazed by this service.  I would have to say it's the fastest service I've ever experienced in my life! LOL. I ordered on a Friday and the package came to me on Monday! Faster than I expected. They are somewhere located in Oregon and I am in Los Angeles.  Pretty & Cute has so many different selections of Asian cosmetics and the website is so cute and easy to navigate! I totally recommend that you check their website out. They don't only sell Lioele products.
The products were shipped in this nice box with lots of these puffy white stuff.  I always think these look like the puffy Cheetos. haha

They included their business card and a raffle ticket for their giveaway contests that they hold for their customers. I love giveaways! ^o^

Okay, now with the products! :D
Jen mentioned many products in her first review of Lioele (she now has 2 reviews!) but I decided to purchase only 2 of the products because I wasn't so sure about Lioele at first.  I just wanted to test out the two products that I was first interested in.  Lioele is a Korean brand.
Here are the products I bought:
First of all, I am loving all this pink packaging! I think the packaging and the boxes are soooo adorable!

Lioele Blooming Cushion Touch Blusher in Cutey Peach
This blush is super adorable! I wouldn't say it's very big, but there is quite a lot of product in it.  Again, the packaging is so cute!
To open the blush, you have to pop the cap off instead of unscrewing the cap off.
Once you take the cap off, there is a cushion where the powder travels up.
To apply the blush, you lightly dab the product into the face.  I will explain more in detail in my video.
The color, Cutey Peach is extremely light so it's perfect for getting a natural peach glow on the cheeks.
I tried to take swatch pics to the best of my ability. It was a kind of hard capturing the true color. The first picture is without flash and the next picture is with flash.

Lioele Beyond the Solution BB Cream
The Lioele Beyond the Solution BB Cream is getting really popular lately. I've been seeing this more in action in recent beauty videos, tutorials, reviews, etc.
Lately, I have been obsessed with BB creams. I don't know what sparked it, but I think it has to mainly do with how I'm trying to sport the no-makeup look these days.  My skin has been really acting up due to lack of sleep, stress, etc.  I noticed that I had lots of little bumps forming on my skin and I've been breaking out around my nose. :( That's why I've been trying to avoid foundations and instead I've been substituting BB cream into my everyday face routine.  I don't exactly cover my entire face with BB cream, but I apply only to parts that I feel need some coverage.

What I like about the packaging is that it has a pump to get the product out. I like this because it's more hygienic and easier to control the amount of product that you want to use.

The product itself comes out dark compared to my skin color. I'm pretty fair skinned (MAC NC 20-25) and I was a little scared at first.
Then I blended it into my skin and magically it fit the color of my skin tone. This is what I like about most BB creams. They magically seem to blend in perfectly.
I wouldn't recommend this BB cream to darker skinned people because it will be too light. I think it could work with some darker skin toned people than me if they mix it with foundation.

The coverage is very nice and I feel like it really does give that flawless affect to the skin. I don't really need to use concealer with this BB cream, but sometimes I do to cover up my bad acne scar right by my nose.
I usually have dry skin, but lately I noticed that my skin is becoming combination skin. I get pretty oily around my t-zone area around my forehead and nose.  This BB cream doesn't seem to make my face more oily than before, but I wouldn't say it controls it either. I do have to blot my face once in a while, but it's not too big of a deal. Also, there is no color transfer.
The one thing that I would say is a con is the fact that there is no SPF. I actually, don't mind it too much though because SPF will make the BB cream more whiter and also, I'm afraid about the oiliness to it.
Overall, excellent product and I will have plenty more to say in my video review of this BB cream! ^o^

Pretty & Cute is having a special promo where if you purchase more than $30 worth of stuff, then they will include a free Lioele Princess Mirror using Jen's promo code: frmheadtotoe.
Of course, I took advantage of this code and I received the princess mirror in Baby Pink!
Can I say "pretty and cute?" LOL!
This mirror is so adorable.

Oh and of course, I can't forget that they included free samples for me. Who doesn't love samples? :D
They included samples of the other BB creams that Lioele makes. The blue bottle one is the Lioele Water Drop BB Cream and the other is the Lioele Triple the Solution BB cream that has SPF.

I am now officially a big fan of Lioele and Pretty & Cute!
I think I'm going to do some major shopping and get some more Lioele products!
Oh, and I forgot to mention. Pretty & Cute ships worldwide!

리오엘리 짱!!

My Makeup Collection Organization and Storage

I would have to admit that I'm a little obsessive when it comes to cleaning and organizing. As crazy as it may sound, I'm someone who enjoys organizing. I can't stand when things are messy and out of place. LOL.
So seeing that my makeup collection seemed to be growing everyday, I decided to invest in a way to organize them.  Also, since I'm moving in about a week, I decided that I needed something that would be easy to pack without losing anything.
I was walking through Little Tokyo and came across these cute boxes that I decided would be perfect for my makeup collection.  I bought a bunch of them and they seem to work well.  Here are pictures of some of the boxes and makeup I own. This is a part of my collection. :)

They are super nice and sturdy and easy to stack one on top of the other. Plus the handles are pink so it was love at first sight.  If I could, I would have gotten something bigger to put everything in, but I am constantly traveling and moving around so it would be too bulky. These boxes were super cheap as well so I'm happy with how I arranged them.
I also decided to start packing my makeup brushes. Here are some of my brushes in my bareMinerals deluxe brush roll. All my brushes couldn't fit in here, as you may see that they are bulging out. LOL.

Last but not least, I know this is random, but I wanted to take a picture of my cute Laneige red heart mouse for my laptop.  ^o^  This has nothing to do with the topic, but I just felt like taking a picture of it.
This mouse was from the Amore store in Koreatown.  I love how they always give me a free gift when I purchase things from their shop. I <3 Amore and Laneige.

Okay so there you have my sneak peak to my makeup collection and how I've been organizing it.  I'll probably show more pics after I move.  That remind me... I need to start packing! WHOA! haha.

Currently Watching: Personal Taste 개인의 취향 (Korean Drama) Ep. 9 Update

This is not beauty related, but being the Korean drama fan that I am, I had to update on how much I'm loving the dramas that I'm currently watching. I posted before about a couple dramas that I've been obsessing over.  Since today is Wednesday, new episodes came out and luckily I found some time to fill my drama cravings today. LOL!

So to start off, I'm going to talk about how much I enjoyed today's episode of Personal Taste, which was episode 9.  There were so many scenes that I couldn't stop laughing.  Seriously, this drama makes me laugh SOO much.  I think my roommates probably think I'm crazy. xD

I'm going to include some pictures of my favorite scenes from the drama so I hope I don't spoil it for you.  So warning... may be a SPOILER! haha.
This scene was absolutely adorable since Gae In packed some kimbap (Korean roll) for Jin Ho.  He asked her if she made it and she gave a super funny response.
I wish I was the one feeding Jin Ho. ^o^
Then Gae In decided to dress up as a guy that day and she and Jin Ho went to take pictures at a photo booth.  This scene was too cute for words!
Their relationship is quite the strange one, but it's obvious that they have deep feelings for each other.
and hello Mr. Hottie! haha

I hope you all don't mind that I'm sticking in these random korean drama updates on this blog. LOL. Well, I guess since it's my blog, I can do whatever I want? JK. I really don't want to clutter this blog with too much randomness, but this episode really made me feel happy. :)

E.L.F. Cosmetics?

I've heard so much about E.L.F. Cosmetics lately. They are actually called Eyes Lips Face, but in short they are known mostly as E.L.F. cosmetics. I've always checked their site, but was kind of weary about the company since the prices were REALLY low. No joke at all. Everything ranged from $1-$5 for individual items and makeup sets and kits would range from $15-$30.  The prices seemed too good to be true.  I've been unsure of how the quality would be of the makeup from that company.

I do own an E.L.F. brush though. I currently own the E.L.F. Powder Brush:
This brush is fantastic for being a multi-purpose brush.  It works great to stipple liquid foundation, apply powder, blush, bronzer, and can just about be used for anything on the face.  The price itself is $3! $3 for a brush.  The brush did fall apart once, but strong glue fixed it back up and feels better than new.

So to go along with what I was saying before, I made a huge purchase from the E.L.F. site consisting of 20+ items and all for an amazing price of $24 + $6.95 shipping.  Shipping was surprisingly not too expensive since I ordered so many items.  Actually, the total price was $54, but I used one of their coupon codes that let me choose 10 mineral eyeshadows ($30 value) for free.  I want to say I took the splurge, but considering that I'll be getting more than 20 products for around $30, I can't say that I did.  Now, I'm waiting patiently for my items to get to my place, but the estimated delivery day shows May 4.  I'm going to try to wait patiently before it comes in.  I ordered a bunch of lip products and face products.  I also ordered a few of their signature brushes.  Here are some of the exact things that I ordered. Pics courtesy: ELF Cosmetics

5 Pc Hypershine Gloss Set in Pink
Mineral Eyeshadows in: Angelic, Caffeinated, Celebrity, Elegant, Glamorous, Golden, Natural, Sassy, Temptress (matte), Trendy, and Wild
Luscious Liquid Lipstick in: Baby Lips, Perfect Pink, Pink Lemonade '06, and Strawberry
Super Glossy Lip Shine Box Set of 5 in Creamy Goodness
Contouring Blush and Bronzing Powder
 Eye Shadow Brush
Small Smudge Brush
So that pretty much summarizes what I should be receiving from them.  Once I receive everything, I will make sure to take pics of swatches and do an overall review. The reason why I bought so many lip products is because I saw so many good reviews of their lip products. :)
I hope I made the right decisions!

Opening the Box #1: From Cherryculture.com (mainly NYX and Milani)

Hello everyone!
So I decided to do a new kind of video where I show you a recent/new haul, which I will be opening from the box with you. :) It'll be my initial opinions to these new products without having used them before. It's kind of like Christmas or birthday present opening time. HAHA.

Here is a picture of all the products I bought from cherryculture! I mainly bought NYX and one Milani lipstick.

The NYX 10 Color Eyeshadow Pallet from the Runway Collection is soooo nice! I got the color selections in "Romance."
It's a perfect selection of pinks and neutrals plus great highlighter colors.
Just like the single eyeshadows, these are nicely pigmented and they are all frosty.
Here are some swatches:
Top Row
Bottom Row (Sorry.. my arm looks super hairy in this picture! HAHA. I think it's just how my camera captured it. I seriously don't have hairy arms. LOL!)

Then I bought two different powder blushes from NYX because I heard these blushes were great! I got them in Silky Rose and Peach.
The reason why I got Silk Rose was because I saw some really good reviews about this color. Peach seemed like a pretty shade so I just bought it. I would say that I am initially impressed with these blushes. One thing for sure is that they are extremely soft so I already dug a hole in one of them.

Then I bought a bunch of NYX lip pencils because cherryculture was having this amazing deal on them! I got 5 different colors in the long lip pencils.
I got them in the colors Mauve, Pinky, Natural, Cabaret, and Prune.
These lp pencils feel really creamy and they are really hard to wash off! LOL. I had an extremely hard time getting them off my arm. I'm really loving the color Cabaret. It seems perfect to pair with a bold red lipstick.

Lastly, I got one Milani lipstick in Coral Cabana. I've been really into coral lipsticks lately and I just had to buy it when I saw the name and color.
Coral cabana definitely has some glitter on it. It has a fruity scent and is really sticky. However, it dries really fast. I think I will need to put gloss over it whenever I wear it.

What's exciting is that I bought some duplicates of these products shown so that I could have another giveaway for you! Yup! My followers and subscribers were the first that came into my mind when I made my purchases. I'm so happy that these products are great and I feel like you guys will like them too! The giveaway info will be posted in my next entry! :)
